The month of September is our biggest fundraising month and we encourage our community partners to Paint the Town Red. Host a satellite event in any of the five communities we serve. Have your guests wear red, serve red-coloured food, have red decorations and accessories – it’s up to you!

Your support of My Friend’s House helps the women and children we serve get the help they need to begin a life free of violence.

HeART of Red Gala

Join us for an evening of art & entertainment in support of My Friend's House at Side Launch Brewery Collingwood!

The inaugural HeART of Red Gala will showcase artists and their work from all different mediums in an effort to raise much needed funds. The impactful evening will feature live music, food, drink and silent auction for unique pieces of art to help women and children who are fleeing abusive situations in the region.

Paint the Trail Red

Saturday, September 14; Sunday, September 15, 2024
The Paint the Trail Red fundraiser will be held over the course of two days. We will hike a total of 33km (this represents the number of years that My Friend's House has been an organization in Collingwood and a godsend to women and children who are fleeing abuse).

All hikers will wear red clothing. There will be red signs posted along the trail we will be hiking that indicate some statistics from the shelter like number of crisis calls made.
