GIVE HER THE COURAGE TO MAKE A PHONE CALL.

November is Woman Abuse Prevention Month. Join us in helping women build the courage to leave abusive situations, the courage to make difficult phone calls to start that process and seek support, or to make the courageous choice to remove her children from situations of abuse.

Our Courage Campaign will raise awareness for My Friend’s House and the importance of this month and its significance in today’s society as rates of gender-based violence have risen.

Wrap your hearts in courage this month by donating to My Friend’s House.  Help us to continue to offer services and programs for women and children in our community who need us most.

YOUR SUPPORT MAKES IT POSSIBLE FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN TO ESCAPE VIOLENCE.

HOW YOUR SUPPORT HELPS

Demand for our crisis shelter services is intensifying because Georgian Triangle’s population has increased significantly since we opened our doors in 1991. As our community is growing, so is the need for supports for women and their children fleeing abusive situations.  Our shelter operations are 50% dependent on our dollars fundraised each year.
